Financial Incentives
• Local Economic Real Estate Tax Abatements
(LERTA)...A 5 year abatement on all local, school
and county real estate taxes, beginning at 100% Year1...declining
20% a year
• PA Machinery and Equipment loan Fund (MELF):
10 year, 3% financing for up to $5 million in new
and used machinery and equipment
• PA Enterprise Zone Tax Credit: Up to $500,000
saleable tax credit on leasehold improvements
• PA Research and Development Tax Credit: prorated
saleable 10% tax credit of a company’s increased investment
in R&D over a base period
• PA Opportunity Grant Program: up to $5,000
grant for each new job created
• PA Job Creation Tax Credits: up to $1,000
for each new job created over a 3 year period
